Rock Solid Relationship!

Residential Miller Kitchen

There is nothing more satisfying than having your life’s work appreciated and enjoyed by a family when the door is closed, and a project has ended. That is, of course, unless the family is calling you back for another project in their home! That is the ultimate compliment and affirmation that you have exceeded their expectations. This was the case recently on a kitchen remodeling project we recently completed for a couple in Brandon, Florida. But we are jumping ahead . . .

Our 3-month relationship with this Brandon couple began when they stopped at our booth at a Home Show. Shortly after the home show, we scheduled an appointment for our same day in-home estimate where we discussed their desire for a new kitchen. They had built their home in the 90’s and it was in need of refreshing to complementt their lifestyle. After our high/low estimate was approved, our designer, Rob Olson, went to work laying out a 3D design to help them visualize what their custom cabinets result would be. We brought out our selection of door and cabinet fronts, stain and paint color samples, and ideas on custom pull-outs and accessories for the cabinets. Hickory was selected as the wood species and a clear coat was applied to create a natural wood look. They selected a granite called Piracema White for the counter tops. The first thing that had to go was the wallpaper. Next, we demolished the ceiling and raised it to provide for extra height of the upper cabinets. Flooring was updated in the same pattern layout. New appliances, cabinets and counter tops along with specialty lighting and paint created a beautifully, well-coordinated design.

As you can see from the before and after pictures, the client’s selections were beautiful. The granite complimented the wood stain perfectly.

Our client had this to say about our work:
